I have nurtured this little stem brooch in my West Yorkshire studio. Screen-printed with 2 layers of water-based ink on maple and sealed with a water-based varnish and fitted with a classic bar pin.

This brooch is a fab gift for plant lovers or those that are totally rubbish at growing plants as this one will survive almost anything! It's super retro vibes are also perfect for mid century fans.

You can choose between yellow & black or a neon-red & black stem

It's as light as a feather and comfy to wear, with a smooth finish. It's pretty tough too - I tried to yank off the pin and it wouldn't budge!

I'm all about keeping waste to a minimum, so I've designed my brooches to make use of any leftovers from larger projects.

How big is it?

75 x 70 x 4mm and finished with 2.5cm bar pin

Care

Not washable. Wipe with a damp cloth. Please don't use anything abrasive as it may harm it's lovely retro foliage

Packaging

Your stem brooch will arrive protected in recycled shredded paper and a small thin 10 x 10cm kraft gift box. If you are considering posting it on as a gift, the box is considered a large letter (bonus!)

Earth Friendly Aims

You will not find any plastic in Print Lass products.

All packaging is paper based and in most cases, recycled.

Art papers are from sustainable sources or recycled

I use a small transparent paper band to secure greetings cards instead of cello bags and the cello bags I use for prints at events are compostable (I roll all prints ordered online and send in a triangular tube).

Care is taken in the printing process, to limit water use and waste water is filtered through a guppy bag to stop any micro particles entering the waste water system (particularly in the use of gold ink).
